4 out of 5 women stop breastfeeding before they want to

Breastfeeding is a natural process, and most new mothers are physically able to do it.

But the reality is that many face unexpected challenges along the way, which is why so many stop before they want to.

If you're feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or just need some extra support in those early days, you're not alone.

Our digital breastfeeding course is designed to help you overcome the common struggles — whether you are pregnant or in those sleep deprived first few weeks.

OUR STORY

Hello!

My name is Line, I’m a Norwegian Mindful Breastfeeding Supporter, Hypnobirthing Teacher and mum of three amazing girls.

When I had my first baby in 2016, I really struggled with breastfeeding, but after spending days, weeks and months researching, and with the right support, I managed to comfortably breastfeed my three daughters - and enjoy it!

Since then, I have been on a mission to help other new mums do the same, as I know how tricky those first few weeks are, and how having the right knowledge and support makes all the difference.

I partnered with the amazing Infant Feeding Specialist, Retired Midwife and IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant), Geraldine Fowler, to create a course that helps you to breastfeed your baby comfortably and confidently.

Together, we give you ALL the tools you need to get off to the best start with your baby!

What people say about the Scandi Guide

"This course exceeded my expectations!"  - Johanna

Johanna, first time mum

"This course exceeded my expectations by including other elements such as co-sleeping and how to calm your nervous system! I’d absolutely recommend it to others, both expecting mums and postpartum mums! It’s a compassionate, thorough and empowering way of strengthening our beliefs that we can do this!"

Helene, second time mum

“Even though I’m a second-time mum and breastfed for 2 years and 8 months last time, I’ve learned so much from this course! Both Geraldine and Line have incredibly soothing voices to listen to. And I absolutely love the audio files! It's a surprisingly thorough course. Incredibly well structured, with loads of great tips and tricks - I highly recommend it!”

Preparing to Meet Your Baby

Don't worry if you've already had your baby - you'll still benefit from this information!

In this module, you’ll learn how breastmilk is made, how to tell if breastfeeding is going well, and the incredible benefits for both mum and baby. This module equips you with the knowledge and practical tips to prepare for a calm and successful breastfeeding experience.

MODULE TWO

Meeting Your Baby: The First Few Days

Discover what to expect in the first moments with your newborn and how to set the foundation for a successful breastfeeding journey.

In this module, we’ll guide you through the golden hours after birth (and how to recreate it if you and your baby were separated). We explore the natural stages your baby goes through, and explain how to recognise normal newborn behaviour. You'll also learn about latching techniques, different breastfeeding positions, and how to navigate cluster feeding and engorgement. Plus, we’ll discuss the vital role your partner can play, explore if co-sleeping is for you, and baby sleep in general.

This module is all about creating a calm, connected start to your breastfeeding experience while building confidence in understanding your baby’s needs.

MODULE THREE

Calm Your Nervous System For Easy Milk Flow

Did you know that the love and relaxation hormone oxytocin impacts your milk flow?

In this module, we give you tools and techniques to regulate your nervous system. Breastfeeding isn’t just physical—it’s also connected to your emotional and mental wellbeing. That's why we focus on helping you create a calm and supportive environment for yourself and your baby by regulating your nervous system. Learn effective breathing techniques, positive affirmations, and guided visualisations to ease stress and support milk production. Plus, enjoy a library of 8 audio relaxations designed to help you feel grounded and calm during feeding sessions or any time you need a moment to reset.

MODULES FOUR, FIVE AND SIX

Overcoming Common Challenges and Making Confident Choices

In these modules, we gently dip into the cultural and political obstacles you may face, whilst giving you the tools and confidence to overcome them.

Learn how to navigate the cultural and political challenges of breastfeeding, including feeding in public, building confidence, handling unhelpful comments and returning to work. In our troubleshooting module, you’ll gain practical guidance for managing common issues like mastitis, blocked ducts, shallow latch, and tongue tie, plus tips on when and where to seek help.

Finally, you learn how to pump and store breastmilk, paced bottle feeding and supplementing. If you’re returning to work, this can be particularly useful.

These modules are all about ensuring you’re informed, supported, and confident, no matter what your breastfeeding journey looks like.
